Behind La Mer: The Lady Genius and Next Max Huber

We're quite familiar with Dr. Max Huber, creator of the miraculous Crème de la Mer. Now I'd like to introduce you to Senior Vice President and Head of Product Development and Innovation at Crème de la Mer,  the genius, Loretta Miraglia.

Loretta is the mastermind creating all the new and exciting, ground-breaking La Mer products at the Max Huber Research Laboratories in New York. Loretta continues to stay true to Dr. Huber’s legacy.

Sometimes described as being quite secretive in revealing what she's working on, or how she innovates, she always stays true to the soul of La Mer, saying that "No change is a good thing". When she gets hounded to launch a new product, she often refuses to do so until she's happy that it's perfect, and that it's "The best that it can be".

Loretta is a futurist with a past. she's been sculpting this leading skincare brand known for its high performing products and its cult appeal since 1996. Her background includes experiences in such diverse industries as television, aerospace, physical chemistry, textile design, and for the past 21 years, she has been an innovator in the cosmetic field.

The rumor mill is in full swing as to launch dates and products related to the new Crème de la Mer Brightening Essence Intense, and many devotees, including myself, can not wait to get MY Brightening Essence Intense!

Since my first report, La Mer counters the world over have been bombarded with questions about the new Brightening Essence Intense, resulting in some interesting scoops, one from Neiman Marcus being that the Blanc de la Mer range might include a Cleanser, Toner, Serum, and Moisturizer!

Naturally, this is creating such a renewed demand for La Mer, even before it is available anywhere! Another devotee, Rashim Fitch, had a further interesting question;

"I wonder what's going to be different from the Asian version?".

On page 122 in the February 2012 edition of Harper's Bazaar US with Demi Moore on the cover, we get our first glimpse of a new product from Crème de la Mer - The Brightening Essence Intense, of which there's no mention in the UK Harper's.

The Whitening Essence

The La Mer Brightening Essence Intense gets presented in the beautiful minty green glass bottle with the flip-protecting pump, similar to The Whitening Essence available in the East.
